The yacht brings the open sea and air experience into it at every point possible, with each of the suites boasting its own terrace. But perhaps the most striking part of the yacht’s innovative design is the Marina Terrace, which combines a refined lounge experience while on the ocean with a remarkable transformation into an energetic sunbathing and play spot when anchored.
A Seamless Connection to the Sea
The moment you walk out onto the Marina Terrace, the view of the sea surrounds you. Settle into a subtly pinstriped chrome chair and gaze out over the water or descend the steps to a daybed on the Marina to relax in the luxury that you'd expect from The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection. Located at the back of the yacht, this beautifully designed space is a signature outdoor area across the fleet.
On warm days, nothing is more refreshing than a chilled beverage, including an array of handcrafted cocktails, a frozen fruit brochette or a handmade sorbet to be enjoyed on the Marina Terrace. The shaded overhang of the space allows you to enjoy the view while staying cool, even during summertime voyages. The breeze coming off the water is the ideal accompaniment.
While at anchor in select destinations, the Marina Beach unfolds below the Terrace, transforming into an active and energetic space for guests to enjoy. A protective netting area allows guests to comfortably swim in the sea waters, as well as experience a range of water sports from the sea-level deck. Choose from kayaking or paddle-boarding for an active day while out on the water.
The immersive waterfront experience of the Marina Beach is made possible by the distinctive design of the custom inflatable AquaBana structures. These interconnecting floating platforms allow for more space to sunbathe as well as shade to rest and dip your toes into the water, while the non-slip surfaces ensure that you can have fun without worrying about losing your footing.
From Day to Night
As the sun sets, the Marina Terrace transforms into an atmosphere of refined elegance. The programming changes regularly, with evening offerings including options such as sampling caviar and sipping champagne while listening to live music on the deck. Aboard Ilma, start with a gourmet meal at one of the ship’s signature restaurants, then finish your evening with a cocktail on one of the aft outdoor seating options.
