Q: What inspired you to work in hospitality?
A: Nayara Cardoso: My inspiration comes from the opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests. The Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection work together as a community, supporting each other to make this a reality.
Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A: Rodolfo Nerez: The most rewarding part is witnessing the joy and appreciation of guests as they create lasting memories. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know I’ve contributed to their guest satisfaction and been part of their special moments.
Going Above and Beyond: Fulfilling Every Request
Q: What was the most unusual or difficult request that you received onboard?
Nayara Cardoso: I wouldn’t call any request “unusual,” but it can be challenging when we don't have a requested item. Still, nothing gives us more satisfaction than making obstacles disappear. Recently, guests on the Ilma yacht had a routine of drinking a whey protein smoothie after their workouts. We didn't have the protein on board, but we were determined to get it for their entire stay. This is just one example of how seriously we take guest preferences and requests, demonstrating our dedication to luxury hospitality.
